Weight Loss Benefits Exaggerated to Cure Obesity

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has given an F rating (the lowest rating BBB could ever provide) to the following companies marketing acai berry products: FWM Laboratories of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and Hollywood, Florida; Advanced Wellness Research of Miami Beach, Florida; AcaiBurn, FX Supplements and SFL Nutrition. These acai companies were reportedly using exaggerated diet blogs that lured a huge number of people to avail of the free trials. Most of these sites have exaggerated claims that acai berry is the end-all cure to obesity.

Acai is marketed as vitamin supplements, juice powders, or health drinks and is not recognized by the medical community as a miracle super fruit intended to cure chronic illneses like diabetes and obesity. Medical researches however prove that it contains high levels of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, which are very important health supplements in helping weight loss programs and efforts.

The juices sell at about $40 each bottle.

Weight loss is actually possible with acai berry. As the super fruit greatly improves energy and stamina, so is digestion and metabolism are further improved – leading to more effective calorie burning and utilization. Fat is also metabolized more effectively with the help of acai berries – therefore all the fatty layers are thinned out.
