[NaturalNews] Recent studies have concluded that Acai Berry can indeed regulate cholesterol levels, according to the published report on the journal Nutrition.

The study was conducted in Brazil, where the effects of a pulp of Acai to cholesterol were tested on rats – one with a standard diet, and one that had a high fat/cholesterol diet. Six weeks of observation was required to determine the effects, and the researchers found out that the blood work of the rats supplemented with Acai had greatly improved – most notable was how it greatly reduced the cholesterol levels.

Though tested on rats, it won’t be too difficult the say the same for humans. This has led to a precedent of more Acai berry tests to come that will already feature the direct effects on the human body systems, and it’s expected to derive the same good results to humans.

It won’t be too difficult to believe that the Acai berry can indeed reduce cholesterol levels on humans. With the high anti-oxidant content of an Acai pulp, it has 10 times more the antioxidant level in grapes, and about 2 times the antioxidant level in a blueberry.
